Reviews of supplements and herbal medicines that I have tried in the past.

Ashwagandha has a mild anti-stress effect and is pretty good for sleeplessness. Supposedly it works by lowering cortisol. Andrew Huberman recommends not taking it in the morning when cortisol is supposed to be higher, but I don't always follow that advice.

Seemed to have a mild but nice anti-inflamatory effect.

Collagen reduced my skin inflamation and dryness. It also seemed to help with digestion issues. Probably my all-time favourite supplement.

Helps maintain good energy levels and helps prevent tension headaches. It's important to find one with magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium. Cheaper ones are usually just sodium and potassium.

Has a moderate anti-stress effect and also gives a boost to concentration, memory and creativity.

I'm open minded but I haven't noticed any benefit from homeopathic medicines. I don't bother with them anymore.

Magnesium is the best treatment I've found for restless legs. Also helps with general sleeplessness. You get what you pay for with magnesium supplements so make sure you buy a good one. The cheap ones just make you shit. Magnesium glycinate in powdered form works well for me.

If you really can't sleep melatonin is the best treatment I've found. I usually wake up feeling groggy though, so I avoid it unless it's impossible to sleep without it. These days I usually use magnesium, ashwagandha, and passionflower instead.

Milk Thistle is supposed to help with liver issues. It's hard for me to tell if it's actually helping or not, but it's not causing any problems at least.

As far as I can tell multivitamins are a waste of time.

Good for sleeplessness. I sometimes feel a little groggy in the morning, but nothing like with melatonin. Pairs well with magnesium and ashwagandha.

Powerful anti-anxiety herb. One downside is it makes your eyes sensitive to light.

B complex sometimes gives a little energy boost.
